afternoon play on jays pending . . .

busch stadium: san diego winning in august and st. louis losing in august. fwiw, wells 4-0 on mondays; st. louis 7-17 on mondays. looper falling apart lately a little more than wells. liking wells' added experience here. looper allowed 7 earned runs in 4 innings in 15-1 loss to pittsburgh last week. caution: looper has pitched farily decently in the past vs. san diego.
playing one unit on san diego padres +124 (mb)
at&t park: money line on nationals has been climbing all morning. I was hoping it would hit two hundred, but it looks like it may have peaked just short of that mark, so I grabbed it here. washington's playing well enough. Lannan is focused on priorities; studying the line up etc. seems to have the 756 thing in stride saying something like 'pitching around Bonds if he's got to as well as having a game plan for him if he does work him'.
lincecum had a good july and is pitching decently, but giving up a fair number of walks which is run fodder in the NL: especially with a team like washington. caution: a win for lincecum tonight ties him for NL rookie pitcher win lead, so there's some motivation for him there.
fwiw: nationals 6-1 in last 7 series openers.
go zimmerman; hex bonds . . .
playing one unit on washington nationals +197 (mb)
gl everybody!
