My buddy is moving down there in a few weeks, got a job dealing poker at a place, i think, in St Petersburg. Anyway just curious, is Apollo Beach a good place to live? Seems a bit out in the sticks from looking at mapblast.

Bills Fan might know!

Basically where I live. The place is booming and growing like crazy. Lots of nice developements. Everything is NEW here, nothing but tomato fields 5 years ago. Schools could be better in the area, and NO real beach. Poker dealer here as well, Apollo beach is right off of Interstate 75 so it's a good place to be for Tampa commuters.

If he has a family it's a good place to be. What developemnet will he be in?

I'm about a mile off THE APOLLO BEACH EXIT 246 off interstate 75.

he currently works at the Pottawattomie poker room in Milwaukee...

5TeamParlay is pretty accurate with his description of Apollo Beach.....that is also where 5TeamParlay deals poker at (The Hard Rock), so I assume the two of them will be working together..

very cool, i'll let my buddy know. Looks like a great place, except no table games besides poker i can see, will they be adding Bacc/BJ/Craps soon?

There is a rumor going around in the Bay area that they will be adding table games as soon as August 21st.....Perhaps 5TeamParlay can clarify since he works there:thumbsup:

Not yet, but poker here is very goods beats when I used to deal all the table games. ON SEPT. 11 word on TABLE GAMES WILL COME OUT.
