I'm pretty sure if your are set up like most networks you won't be able to on firefox...

however, there are sites that are out there that you can connect to which allow you to surf the web through them. I'm not sure what they are, but it is almost like a portal. you connect to site www.blahblah.com and then from there it allows you to access any site you want.

No it will not.....firefox is just another web browser...your company is blocking gambling sites....

I guess you can't get to sportsbooks like OLY, Betjam, 5 dimes etc...either....correct???

I guess you're stuck.....unless you have a laptop and a wireless card...then you can get out on the internet using your ISP connection....

Or get you a smartphone i.e Treo, cingular 8525 with data plan and surf all day long !!!!

Yep, definitely sounds like they are doing some web filtering. A proxy(or accessing the sites from a remote machine) are probably your only options.
