Probably a good idea to fade right now..

1* A's +103

Like DiNardo more than Millwood.

Like the price.

Both teams are similar offensively.

Adding:

1* Indians -139

Was figuring line would be around -150 or more.

Garland has been getting lit up this season.

White Sox .243 vs LHP.

Sabathia is a beast. 2-0 vs WSox this season 2.57 ERA

he has?
take away two bad outings against minnesota and the yankees and he would be one of the better middle of the rotation guys in the american league. 3 or less runs in 8 of his last 12 starts.
gotta be honest - im certainly hoping cleveland wins. but the indians minus any chalk right now is risky considering how they have been flat out pathetic offensively for the last 2 or 3 weeks. watching them try to grind out runs has been painful. sabathia has been on the wrong end of some 1-0 losses already this season.

I'm thinking Santana gets his shit together and shuts down the Royals here. Odalis Perez is always good for a couple of runs..

Probably wrong.

prodigy I meant to edit that.. I noticed it myself and was going to edit then someone called me and I lost my thought process..

I meant to say lately. His ERA has gone from 3.15 to 4.60 in less than a month and honestly his confidence has to be down.

I'm probably on the wrong side anyway. Way too much chalk today.

youre certainly right when you mention his recent spike in era. it will be interesting to see how he responds to that shelling he took in yankee stadium last week when his teammates spotted him an 8-0 lead and he gave it all back a half inning later.

trust me, i really hope you win. cleveland cant afford to piss away another chance with their ace on the mound. but i have just been shaking my head watching this cleveland team try to score runs lately. nobody in the lineup is hot right now. and they arent stringing together hits like they did earlier in the year.

without question, sabathia will do his past and keep chicago to 3 or less. but its gonna come down to the cleveland offense. a month ago, that wouldnt have been a bad thing. right now, though, the tribe offense is in a major, major slump. look at some of the gems carmona and sabathia have tossed and have nothing to show for it.

It's odd but you have bet the 3 worst hitting teams in the AL the last 7 days or so. I was just running my numbers (before tonights games) and Minny, Oak and Cleveland just aren't bringing the sticks right now. Of course this doesn't mean they will lose, they might break out at any point and facing some of these guys like Odalis and Millwood it might be the right time. Good luck with the card Gyno, nice to be reading your opinions again.

Dude, I wouldn't sweat it, you know your stuff. Just throwing it out there as another piece of the pie. BTW, any thoughts on Pitt/Arz under? That 9.5 seems high to me though the Pirates are swinging the bats well of late.

Both pitchers have been pitching very well lately. Both bullpens are solid especially Ariz..

9.5 does seem a little high. Why not?
