Yes, regarding MoneyGram, if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated. I found a local Wegmans Supermarket that does MoneyGram, do I just go to customer service and ask to send a MoneyGram after I get all the information I need from the sportsbook I am looking to deposit in? Has anyone had experience with this before?

Moneygram is the way to go. I fund my poker accounts using it and just funded 5dimes using it. Great method and only costs 9 bucks to send. Very easy.

That is correct. Just bring the information with you and ask what steps you need to take. Some make you fill out the form, others I just read off the info. I have never had a problem. GL.

Moneygram is the best. It only takes a few minutes. The worst part is waiting for the book to put the money in your account. Right now i have been waiting for 2 hours and still no funds after giving the book the reference number. That is the most nerveracking part for me especially after the book tells you the money should be in their in a half hour.

Unfortunatly the best ways send funds back and forth are no longer a subject that we can allow to freely be discussed on our boards.

Dumb question, but...

The form, does this ask you questions like "why are you sending this money" or anything?

I recommend using big banks... Big banks don't go through intermediaries.

Even better, use big non US banks...

I go to WalMart and fill out a MoneyGram form and hand it to the Customer Service clerk. All they ask is the company name and the amount and I hand over the cash. When I go home I go into instant chat at 5dimes or wherever and give them the confirmation number and the cost of the MoneyGram.

A half hour later the money is in my account. Done. Costs $9.95 which is promptly credited to the account at my book.

And if the Road Warrior says it, it must be true..

ask your book if MoneyGram is "person to person" or is it "Money Gram Express"

you have to choose the correct form to fill out at the MG location.

Now--does that make a difference in what id they ask for when sending it? Or purpose of funds? (Using $300. as an example either way)

My experiences have all been "Moneygram Express". I am pretty confident most books do it this way.
