It I no wonder that Scott Verplank is in first place. He played in college at Oklahoma State I believe.


But honestly, Tiger has them right where he wants them!!

As tough as the fairway's are to hit, the scores would be ridiculous if the greens were hard. Plus they're still very fast. One US Open a year is good enough for me.

Yeah, it's a shame they're not putting those West Coast poeanna greens... they're really great. :puppy:

They have to use plenty of water, or else they will be putting on dirt by Sunday.



With that Heat and Humidity they need to pour the water on them, to keep them alive. It is ashame they picked this track this time a year. Everyone had to know it was going to be a scorcher down there.

PGA Championship has always been a joke, I saw this bore fest in 95 when Elkington shot 17 under. Europenas do NOT take this seriously, and why a Euro has NEVER won a PGA championship.
