tonight. Brilliant. WIth two outs in the 8th he did not get the benefit of a third strike that prob was a strike. Pena gets a hit to tie the game at 1 and they take Bedard out. Sox have exploded for 4 more. Great pitching with Dice K and Bedard. Feel for him as he pitched very well. The entire place cheered for the Sox when we tied it...always plenty of Sox fans in Baltimore.

You know I am not sure. If so OUCH. I left here that day in the nith and thought they lost. That was wild. Hopefully someone will let us know.

I was getting ready to start a thread asking when the last time a pitcher won the cy young without being an allstar. For all i know it could have been recent, but if it was just based on the best pitcher this year, Bedard deserves it.

He would also be the first Oriole to do it since 1980 and Steve Stone.

I don't know WTF Gagne's doing, he just throws the ball right down the middle...he's been doing this and getting rocked, this isn't the first time recently.

He stuck with him too long. Francona's been a good manager for a long time but I'm not so sure about his decisions lately...you have quality pitchers out there use them....terrible loss for Boston, clawed back to have one player kill them.
