YTD : 17-13 (+3.10)

I had recently taken about a 2 week break from the gambling world. That was due to not having any time to do any research. I was job searching and interviewing like mad crazy.. but it was worth it. I landed the job I set out to get and I am currently in the process of moving to Virginia because my job is in D.C.

But in the meantime before I move I am not doing anything during the days except watching baseball and football. So might as well throw a few bones around and drink some beer.

Warning : I am seeing that a lot of the people are on the over in the Pirates @ Giants game. I was also going to play that, but I looked more deeply and decided that it is a bad play. Tony Armas is garbage, right? Well mainly, garbage we'll say. He had a really phenomenal spring training but when it came to the regular season he fell apart, lot his starting job, and got sent to the bull pen. Well he improved while staying in the bull pen and got a starting job back. Got busted up again, but then he really found a groove. The Cardinals were to say the least the hottest team in the NL Central when they played the Pirates. Tony Armas pitched in that series and held the Cards to only 4 hits and 1 run through 6.1 innings. As I watched this game, this was the Tony Armas I was expecting to see after viewing his spring training. I believe he fixed his mechanics and is ready to hold onto this starting position. I realize that the Giants scored 7 runs last night, and thats rare out of that team. Giants are no offensive powerhouse by any means. So maybe we will see a good Tony Armas today or a bad one. As far as the other side of the field, Lincecum has been well.. lights out. That is all you can say about him. I am not guaranteeing an under by any means because Tony Armas could blow up and be right bank into his funk. Just sending out a warning to the over backers in that game.

Anyways.. let's get to some picks :

3.75 to win 3.00 u10.5 Cubs @ Rockies (-125)
3.70 to win 2.00 Boston Red Sox (-185)
3.30 to win 2.00 New York Mets (-165)
2.44 to win 2.00 New York Yankees (-122)
2.30 to win 2.00 u9.5 Blue Jays @ Royals (-115)

Note : I am not sure about this play really. It doesn't make a lot of sense. Both of these pitchers have been lights out lately. Leo Nunez has been unreal lately posting a 0.90 ERA in his last 2 games against the Rangers and Yankees. Dustin McGowen has also been a pitching machine. Not to mention the fact that the under is 12-0 in the Blue Jays last 12 road games and the Royals under is 6-2-1 in their last 9 home games. Everything points to the under yet the total is much higher than I would have expected. If anyone has any insight or opinions on this total, I would love to here them.

I hate laying this much chalk usually, but I really like these picks and don't mind laying the chalk at all with the pitching match ups in the Rex Sox and Mets games.

Best of luck to everyone!

Best of luck to everyone who has action on the late game.
