pitt/sfran: 3 games on the west coast and now doubleheader? ...

im assuming this is a makeup doubleheader tomorrow. but what the fu.ck? neither of these teams are going anywhere. why not play the games in san francisco instead of touring the country to play meaningless games?

it makes no sense at all, but this will just give the Pirates an opportunity to pound them 5 times in 4 days.....too bad for the Giants the season runs til October.

You are right.. it is fair for the Giants to make profits off of those games and screw the Pittsburgh organization out of income.

Pitt would probably make more off their cut of the SF gate, rather than play in front of 10,000 at home.

valid point. but how many people are going to be at that 5:05 game tomorrow? you and i both know theyll be lucky to get 25,000 combined for BOTH games. its not so much that i dont think the games should be playing in pittsburgh. rather that 2 meaningless games are being played 3,000 or so miles away when the same two teams are playing in frisco right now. makeup games draw horribly as it is. makeup DOUBLEHEADERS? again -- 25,000 combined for the two gms would be a massive success.
