Starting with nothing, how much would it cost to get the NFL Ticket hooked up?

I am talking about calling Dish Network in the morning and starting from scratch.

Do they have a NFL ticket special, where you get the whole service only until the season is over or is this more of a 1 year contract.

Just wondering what this will cost from the start to the finish for a guy with cable currently and doesnt have Dish network.

Thanks

most of the time it costs absolutely zero.they come to your house hook up and you pay first month.

however dish does not have NFL so you would be wasting your time if that is why you want

as a new subscriber, its basically free as long as you sign up for their $99.00 a month package for the first 6 months.

just like anything, they are banking on you forgetting/choosing not to cancel their premium package after that first 6 months.

but if you simply downgrade to a regular package (comparable to cable) after the season, it is dirt cheap and a great investment.

install free (although they will charge you to go in your attic), a bunch of equipment is usually free but typically they require that you sign up for a year or 2 to get the equuipment free. Personally, it is worth it.

prodigy and fhm have it right.

it is only worth having the nfl ticket if you have multiple receivers close together so you can watch 2 or 3 tvs at once.

having nfl ticket so you can flip the channels back and forth is not worth it.

i actually had 5 lines run thru my house. i set up a room with 3 mounted tvs and 1 on a stand underneath them .

i had 4 games going at once. my own little sports bar.

you'll need the room wired for 3 receivers then.

i ended up having 2 dishes on my roof. 4 lines off 1 and 2 lines off the other .

each reciever you have will cost you 5 bucks a month.

Thanks. Will be explaing the whole thing to the guy on the phone. I may go even more TV's now.

I was going to put X amount of money into the basement but think some slight adjustments are in order as more TV's will get added into the mix.

if you have picture in picture on your TV that you want to use you will need a receiver for each. Just an FYI. Ice, if you think of it, give them my name as a referral. We can figure out some way to work out a payback for you, I'm not entirely sure what I would get. If not, no worries.

For each room you get hooked up you pay a monthly fee so don't hook it up where you aren't going to use it.

You want two feeds into each box for PIP or record and watch TV at the same time (DVR). If you subscribe to NFL Sunday Ticket as a new subscriber, you will get the premier pack for free for 4 months for just the cost of subscribing to NFLST 250.00. If you want HD, it's $10 overall and you can get a free HD receiver to start. It's also 4.99 for each additional receiver beyond the first one. With their HD expanding great than cable, it's worth getting HD, I am upgrading to HD on 9/1. This will be my 6th year with D-TV and I would trade for anything else. Good choice and keep it going man!
