I know the Red Sox are pretty juicy at first glance, but after digging a little deeper the Sox look pretty sexy to me. The D-Rays are brutal on the road this year with a 19-39 record. The Red Sox have been coming down to earth a little but i really feel that they have to be thinking sweep here with the Yankees playing out of their minds and gaining ground on them. Red sox are amongst the top in the majors when playing at home this year at 36-20. Two pretty good pitchers squaring off with Shields and Wakefield, however Shields will not be able rely on runs backing him up. Bull pen edge in HUGE favor of the Sox. Wakefield has won 4 straight against the Rays and 5 look very likely tomorrow. Surely i am missing something, looking to bounce some ideas around before i make this game my play for tomorrow.
thanks

Thing is Shields is capable of hurling a 5 hit type game, so TB could only score a 3 spot and win this game.
Be careful, but if you wager Boston, best of luck !

Thats my only worry. Shields was nails early on this year. He has a filthy change-up and it carved hitters up. If he goes 6 i think Sox win, gotta hope to get to that pen. I think a similar concern has to be raised to any Rays backers as Wake can be flat out unhittable on day. Rays on the road is a huge factor in me liking this game, just playing the odds here....which can be non-existant in baseball.
