he has bases loaded one out, gets a routine grounder hit right back to him....instead of firing a 'pitch like' throw to the catcher to get the DP, he throws a lollypop wide and they only get one out, Klesko comes up and homers on 3-2 pitch

In that situation you are not even supposed to throw home, you go to second for the higher percentage DP. 0 outs you go home, 1 go to second, 2 you obviously go to first......just throwing that out there.

Depends on the score and runner...if he catches and fires a strike, it's a DP, instead the game blows up because he was not thinking.

I am absolutely serious. Now i didn't see the play so there are definatly circumstances that would alter that if it was a soft hit ball you would go home for one out and not expect to get the second out. But if it was a normal come- backer to the pitcher that is the play go to second get 2. Baseball 101 buddy.
