Seoul Korea-

It's been a bad summer for amusement park fatalities....and this time it was from a slow moving Ferris Wheel...the cart flipped over, dropping 5 of the 7 people 'in a flash' some 65 feet to their deaths....the two that survived, clung to handles until they could be rescued.

That is so tragic!! Go and have fun and then that. Very sad indeed since it was probably all the same family.

Yes they all were from the same family...I've ridden similar slow riding very large Ferris Wheels, I may skip that ride next time around...just a real shame.

I think the thing that shakes me up about storys like this is, these are just people looking to go have some fun. They pay admission to go on some rides. Its supposed to be a day to get away from things and kick back and be happy.

Then when something like this happens, it's absolute terror.

I wouldnt want to die like that, I wouldnt want to be a witness to it.

The thing with the superman ride and the cable snap still crosses my mind sometimes. I feel so bad for that girl.

I will guarantee you 5 times minimum as many people have died while driving to reach an amusement park.

That's messed up. I don't think I could hold onto a pipe like that for more than 2 minutes. Talk about scary shit.

How would the thing tip over? I wonder if it locked up or if they were rocking it.

Final destination 3, roller coaster scene. Nothing like this could happen in real life, could it?!

Does it not amaze anyone that a 50.00 seat belt would have prevented this.

They had to be rocking the seat. How do you get seven people into one ferris wheel seat? It seems to me that when I was young, three was the maximum.
