the ambiance there is not a of a real club scene, it's more of like a fashion show where people go to be seen.

Pure is decent, but I too prefer body english. Moon, at the Palms isn't bad either, and easier to get in. Pure will be a pain in the ass to get in if you roll up with a bunch of dudes. Actually, that will be the case with most clubs unless you coordinate beforehand and get bottle service.
Bottle service is the way to go at any major club in NYC, Miami, Vegas, or LA.
Two guys, one bottle of Grey Goose - about $315... No wait and a table where hotties wander up all night. (Some places are 2 bottles - either pony up or move along).
You are each gonna spend $150 anyways on $35 drinks after you wait in line for 2 hours...

Bottles are more than that, probably $400-450 for Grey Goose at Pure or Tryst. However, it is still the way to go. You get a booth, waitress, generally easy access to the club although in Vegas some of them can still be pricks if you are rolling up with a bunch of dudes. Typically they require one bottle per 3 guys minimum.
Truthfully, f*k Pure, go with Body English or Moon (club in new Palms tower), you will have an equally great time and it will be easier and less hassle. Pure folks are kind of pricks to deal with.
