Two years ago, I set my phone to alert me when it's Aug. 15th. At 1pm I got the alarm. Reason being, it's one of the Red Sox's favorite fans, Ben Affleck's birthday. The Red Sox have not won on his birthday in, I believe, ten years!!!

A +260 winner. Thank you Ben!! :toast:

The Red Sox have lost 9 years in a row on August 15th, Affleck’s birthday…9 years! My, oh my! Officially making it a curse in the eyes of die-hard Red Sox fans. But could the curse be contagious? Could it carry over to the crucial series this weekend against the New York Yankees? Has Affleck’s Box-Office poison moved over to MLB baseball?

Yes...there's actually a campaign, election, & voting for this title....and Affleck is one of the candidates (from what i've heard).
