need some help on vegas...

going to VEGAS over labor day weekend for a bachelor party with 6 other guys (leaving thur coming back sunday, most likely in a body bag :toast: )....
i'm wondering how hard it will be to get into certain clubs and which ones we should hit. i'm thinking we all need to get these VIP passes from http://las-vegas.nightclubs.com/ ahead of time which will allow for no cover/no wait instant access, pick 3 out of the top 10 clubs listed there and pre-determine where we want to go on what nights. now we have a fair amount of cash to blow but we dont want to blow it all at the clubs, so we need to keep that in mind. bottom line is do we even need these passes? and what clubs should we hit up?

God, that list is horrible. Go to Body English, consider Pure, Moon, Tryst and Tao and none of the others.

Call this guy www.vegasphil.com and inquire about hook ups to clubs.

I would tell you to get table service, but it won't be cheap, especially on a holiday weekend.

If 7 guys want to get table service for 3 nights you are each going to spend about $750-$1000. Are you bringing the grocery bagger?

nah, we were think about going all out maybe one night with the table service. the other nights we still wanna hit the clubs just not spending major $$$

Do yourself a favor...when you get to Las Vegas befriend as many chicks as you can. Take them out with you. They are as good as gold. The only place VIP hosts wants to see 7 guys solo is standing in the 2-hour "wait until all the hot ass leaves" line.

The holiday weekends in Vegas

are treated very differently by most of the nightclubs.

The lines are longer, the ablilty to get in is harder, the cover charges to get in are usually increased. The staff is more stressed out.

I have a few suggestions...

If you are going to try and get into the most popular clubs, try and make arrangements before hand with some kind of service to get in and by pass or have a short wait in line[ all guys, holiday weekend, almost no chance unless you make arrangements beforehand]. As far as what are the most popular clubs...

Pure [largest venue, inside\outside areas, pussycat doll lounge, rated as one of the top five clubs in the world, gets packed, downstairs hip hop, outside house, hard to get a drink after midnight]

Tao [hip hop, weird floorplan, not to bad getting a drink]

Jet [three rooms, different music, great floorplan, not to bad getting drinks]

Moon\Playboy [the Playboy club is small, Moon is ok floorplan, not too bad getting a drink]

Wynn [large open floorplan, hard to get a drink after midnight]

Body English [small, packed]

Light [same people who run jet run light, light is a mini me version of jet.

All of these are going to be packed wall to wall all night. Luxor is opneing a new club LAX that weekend, fwiw.

There are opportunities at Wynn, Hardrock and Jet [near the club entrances] to meet, befriend [offer to buy drinks] and tag along with a group of ladies to get in and get in quickly.

Another option, Tabu Ultra Lounge at the MGM [you wil get in].

The Hardrock and the Palms have great bars that are in the middle of all the floor action. Great places to again meet a group of gals [have I made my point].

Table Service? What is your goal for the evening. If you want people to think you have deep pockets, get table service.

If you are old and need to sit down, get table service.

If you were a group of couples [wives, girlfriends] get table service.

Otherwise, DO NOT GET TABLE SERVICE. $30-$60 bottle of Grey Goose for $450 [two bottle minimum] plus tip and not counting other drinks. There are much better things to spend your money on and other ways to get access into the club. jmo

There are "other" things and places to go in Vegas, it depends on what you want to accomplish. I have kept my comments to "just" the clubs.

P.S. The Vegas clubs are very good, but there is NOTHING in this world like partying at the top Vegas pools [what hotel are you staying at?]. That is where table service\booths start making sense money wise. Oh my god the women, the women, the women!

Ebay club passes..I have bought them....

1. They do work for bypassing the admin charge and thus are a great deal.

2. Most clubs wont let you use them on holiday weekends [even though the pass doesn't mention such a restriction].

3. They do not help you with the line at all. As a matter of fact, you want the line staff to think you are paying full admin.


If you want suggestions for gentlemens clubs or professional services, I have thoughts.

I'm a club host in Vegas so I'll try and give you some advice. You're probably not gonna be able to get into the clubs with 6 guys over labor day weekend unless you have bottle service. That weekend along with Memorial Day weekend and New Year's are probably the biggest weekends for the clubs. VIP passes won't work. Only way you're gonna get in is either bottle service or to grease the guys at the door but you'll need to get there early as clubs reach capacitiy by 11:30 or so and with a group of guys you need to get there close to when they open as clubs are really strict with the girl to guy ratio on holiday weekends. 80% of the guys in the general admission line aren't gonna get in at all. Your best bet is to find a security guy early and try and get him to let you in.

Doing good. I've been around a few sites. Been in Vegas about 3 years now after I left Arizona State.

My friend owns an independent hosting company. We don't work with a particular club. We set people up at all the major ones such as Tryst, Tao, Pure, Body English, Moon, Rain, Jet, Drai's, and will also be working with the new club LAX when it opens in a couple of weeks.
