At half time at White Hart Lane today, Steve Nash made an appearance kissing a Spurs shirt and talking to the crowd.

Will be amusing to see if Mansion use the photos of him posing with the shirt for promotion purposes, I'm sure it would please the NBA ;o)

Yea Tottenham Hotspur, Spurs is the club nickname, but they're either "Spurs" or "Tottenham", never "Tottenham Spurs" unless perhaps you're an American commentator.

I was at the game, so doubt the appearance was televised, but there were certainly photographers capturing it.

Mansion are the club sponsors

The halftime wasn't televised however at the end of the game there was a crowd shot of him and the play by play man made mention of him.

His brother Martin plays for the Canadian national soccer team. Which isn't saying much mind you but he does.

Yes he mentioned his brother played with Paul (Stalteri) on the Canadian team. He went over to talk to Stalteri after the interview as they finished warming the subs up.

Pardon my ignorance, but where is White Hart Lane? Thanks.

Interesting. Thanks Joey. Do you really not know who Steve Nash is?

I think its cool that he's such a big soccer fan, and obviously has some talent. I first caught wind of this in an article in Sports Illustrated a couple of years ago. It was about which athletes other athletes would pay to watch play. Nash replied: Zinedine Zidane.

Good choice. Yes I have heard of Steve Nash, read the post quick and didn't make the connection. Apart from attending the odd Celtics game, I don't pay much heed yo the NBA.
