Holy shit, all you linesmaker conspiracy theorists are gonna have to break this down for me, cause here's what I see:

Capuano is 1-16, and Harang has allowed only NINE hits in his last three starts and he's 12-4. Man, WTF?? Reds are scoring almost two more runs per game than the Brew over the last 10 games. During that stretch the Reds are batting .300 against lefties while Brewers are hitting .231 against righties.

They must think we don't look at the numbers.

Reds are 7-3 over the last 10.

it is Capuano's birthday and his last chance to stay a starter, he blows it today he is heading to the pen or the minors...

not tryin to be a homer or anything just letting you know how important this game is to Cappy and how the Red have faired this year so far against Cappy

The Brewers won Cap's first 7 starts, then lost his next 15. In fairness, they scored 2 runs or less in 10 of those 15 starts, and his ERA in two starts vs. the Reds is 0.66-and they tend to suck against lefties-so they've not exactly shelled him. Brewers snapped a 5 game losing streak, so maybe they snap the hideous lose-when-Cap-starts streak as well...

Well it isn't just about Cap. What does Harang bring to the table? He's a winner, regardless of anything else. He can be lights-out and probably will be today. Cap being a loser is just icing on the cake.

i really have a lean to the reds, but the thing that scares me here is the brewers just won last night, and they may be looking to get that mojo back. i think beating harang puts this teams confidence back in them. i know harang has been solid, but i just dont know this line is telling me something. probably a no play for me.

Betting Capuano today would be like backing Steve Blass.

Depends on when you bet him: from '68 through the '72 season, he was money-including a 2-0 win in the 7th game of the '71 World Series. After that...not so much. :ohno: :money8: :nopityA:

Just on a quick look, it appears as though the Brewers hit Harang pretty well.

I still would not take the Brewers, but to me with the line like it is, this is a no play. Maybe the Over.

Just got Harang down at -107 and it's the best play on the board today in my opinion:

<LI class=more>MIL are 1-15 in Capuano's last 16 starts.:money8:

Harang has faced the Brewers once this season:
