Cincinatti +102 (Harang/Capuano) As far as the teams are concerned I look at this as a tossup, but when you add in the mismatch in pitching for this one, Harang is in form and Capuano has been struggling bigtime of late, I have to side with the Reds in this one and hope Capuano continues his struggles.
LA Angels -104 (Saunders/Tavarez) I got this game at +111 yesterday but still like the Angels around this price, this one is a fade on Tavarez. Should be a few runs scored as you know the Sox will get theres, but I think the Angels win this.
San Diego -1 -115 (Maddux/Albers) Two low scoring teams here but another big pitching mismatch as Maddux has been great since mid July and doing his best to keep the Padres in the pennant race. He only has 6 walks in his past 57 innings, amazing control. Albers has been pretty weak all season and Pads trying to avoid the sweep, I'll side with the more desperate team here.
Seattle -1 -115 (Hernandez/Garland) White Sox are struggling big time, have lost 7 straight and already the first two in this series, could very well be 8 going up against this strong Mariners lineup with their ace King Felix on the mound. If you thought the Mariners were a fluke to stay in contention this late in the season , think again , they are for real. All around solid hitting, an excellent bullpen, and starting rotation that has surprised many this year. No reason not to back them today.
Minnesota -1.5 -102 (Santana/Millwood)
KC +152 (Davies/Dinardo) - Although I give Oakland the pitching edge here, just can't ignore the value with this Royals team who continue to play hard against an A's lineup that seems to always struggle to find runs.
