He is REALLY looking sharp today. The Texas hitters are just BARELY hitting the ball. I havent seen a ball even leave the infield. Through 4 innings and 12 batters, he has struck out 9 batters!!


By the way, I could really use a perfect game today! He is on my fantasy team and I am losing this week by a few points. But with a no hitter or perfect game, then I will win!! COME ON JOHAN!!

On the flip side, Kevin Millwood is looking real strong for Texas! This game could EASILY end at 1-0 or 2-0. That could add a little pressure on Johan in later innings.

You may want to make a mental note at how good Millwood looks today. He may be worth a bet next time he starts.

Nice jinx! Johan is definitely dealing today, and keeping his pitch count fairly low at the same time. Would be nice to see him break his career high for strikeouts, which stands at 14.

In all seriousness, I think his command is the best I have seen. Absolutely pinpoint.

wish I could win a game this guy pitches in...nothing even close to this in my career....I wanted to take hm again today but couldn't afford to lose a 3rd finger...cut of my thumb and pinky finger this year in Johan games....he has probably cost me a yr or two off my life as well.
