Anyone got any idea about this rain delay?

Reason I ask = it's been a LONG day and this Little League crap has been going on for DAYS, I flip to ESPN (just got home from a Fantasy Football draft, lasted 5 hours) and I see Saudi fucking Arabia instead of Wells/Zambrano.

What a great week for Zambrano. Big raise, now gets to sit out a start.

Any SOLID info on the status of this MLB game?

From the radar, it looks like it's gonna rain for a long time.

Help?

thanks in advance . . .

Thanks, Bomb

Rain delays always throw a wrench into the dynamic of the game, especially with the pitchers. warm up, sit, warm up, sit, arm goes "huh?"

Then, the ground just STOPS a ball in the outfield, crowd hauls ass, puts a total bummer on the mindset of the game.

They should just call this one. Most RXers could get about 3 hours more sleep tonight, lol.

thanks, bomb.

if they don't start up soon there fucked the rest of the nite, there's a wave of showers now should end in 20 min, then there's a break before the skies open up and the heavy stuff starts.
time for a old style!!!

Lefty? I'm gonna join you, 'cept with a Pilsner Urquell.

So, that being said?

:toast:

What does an Old Style taste like? I see the can, is it good? Where is it from? Pilsner Urquell is Czech, golden suds and smooth creamy taste, a real Pilsner, old-style brewing. I'll send you some. I'd like to taste an Old-Style, don't think I can get them here (texas).

Cheers!
(drink, ah, drink ah, btw, who you got in this ESPN Ark-event???

Wisconsin became a state in 1848, and just four years later, young Gottlieb Heileman arrived in America from Germany. He eventually settled in the town of La Crosse in western Wisconsin. Here the Mississippi River cut an awesome swath, creating towering bluffs and scenery so spectacular, it's often referred to as "God's Country."

Gottlieb began as a partner in a small La Crosse brewery and then became the owner in 1872. His commitment to brewing a quality beer using only the finest ingredients paid off handsomely. By 1902, he was brewing 160,000 barrels annually.

Old Style Lager appeared on the scene in 1902, and this beer, with very few changes, became the Old Style we know and love today. "Pure brewed in God's Country" has faded as an advertising slogan but it's hard to drive very far in any part of Wisconsin without seeing an Old Style sign hanging on the side of a barn or in the window of a roadside tavern.

Great beer travels across state lines, and Chicago has long called Old Style its own. First enjoyed by vacationing "flatlanders," it wasn't long before Old Style became Chicago's beer - served from the north side to the south side and everywhere in between. Old Style has proudly sponsored the Chicago Cubs since 1950, and generations of Cubs fans have enjoyed our fine products at Wrigley Field!

Its just a domestic beer in here in Chicago made in God's country La Crosse Wis. i don't think you can get it west of the Mississippi. i been drinking it for years. Miller brewing company brews Old Style now, i could compare it to Miller beer. (1 of these days i'm going up to Gods county in La Crosse)
I had the Cubs -1' ... i doubt they play 2 tomarrow.
