RBs behind a poor offensive line are tabbed by the media as "declining"
RBs behind a nice offensive line are tabbed by the media as "improving"

Don't buy into the words of the media. An offensive line is the single most important aspect to an offense. Keep an eye on offensive line strength as well as injuries. Look at Edge's decline (as well as Emmitt's) with the move to Arizona. He didn't just all of a sudden forget how to run... he doesn't have the same big holes.

Kansas City is going to be a great example this season with Larry Johnson. His stats won't be nearly as good as the last two seasons and it's because the KC line lost some great players and is now rebuilding.

For both fantasy and gambling, take a close look at how the offensive line matches up to the opposing defensive line to figure out how well the offense will perform.
