Oh my, anyone around Balto in the late 70's early 80's knows how important this guy was, from up in section 34, his O-R-I-O-L-E-S created a fan fenzy and a new era was born that summer in 1979 ...very very sorry to hear this...

I was actually in a Rotisserie League with Wild Bill back in 1991.

I have talked about this game a few times over the years here...no question this was the night that changed baseball in Baltimore...

I was lucky enough to have been there that night, hands down the most memorable and most significant game in my mind in Orioles history.
