I have played in a local softball tournament called "The Blueberry " held in Montrose, Mi every 3rd week of august. This has been the 12th yr in a row I have played in it. The first team I was part of when we won the first one was in '96. I played with 1 other team for 2 of the year's, which were not very good one's, and the same team for the other 9 yrs. With this team we won our first won in '04 and we just won our 2nd in a row this last weekend. I am not trying to brag, espically with this being a slow pitch game, but the best part about winning this the last 2 yrs is that we beat the same team both times. This team is in our league also which makes this even better because we also beat them to win the league, and in the playoff's for the championship they had to beat us twice, because it is a double-elimination playoff, and we beat them to get to the final's in the first place. They beat us the first game, and then we beat them the second game to win it. But in this yr's blueberry tourn they beat us to get to the championship game so we had to come back after beating another team and beat them twice to win it. Which we did. Last yr in this tourn they had to beat us twice to win it, which they pounded us 35-5. But then we beat them the second game 5-4. In the game I hit in the tying run and scored the winning run. We all get along quite well, but deep down they have to hate us also. We have played them 14 times this yr and have double dipped them in two tournament's so far, while sweeping them in one other tourn we faced them in. Making us 9-5 this yr against these guy's. Just thought I would share this you all for the hell of it. I love playing this game because of excitment it bring's with every pitch and it is also great exercise.
