Cubs are losing and they gave up no hits? I got to the page with baseball scores and SF had guys on 2nd and 3rd with no hits or errors? It must have been walks. That sucks, there is no excuse for it. Reminds me of my days of pitching in Little League, I was huge for that age but had no control. In fact I started off one year with back to back to back ho-hitters. Unfortunately we went 1-2 in those games, lost the 3rd game something like 13-11.

This is one of those where the manager can't win. He takes the guy out and the pen loses it, he will never hear the end of it. He leaves the guy in and he gets knocked around then he gets questioned as well. I have to think he did the right thing by giving the guy a chance to close it out unless his pitch count was way up there. I didn't watch the game so I don't know if he had thrown a lot of pitches or seemed to be tired. Either way I got lucky, I admit it, small play on the Cubs. I'm usually on the wrong side of these games, feels nice to win one finally.
