And some still think this guy has a shot at 300 wins...lol

His fastball tops pout at like 88 , if he's not razor sharp with his junk , he gets rocked....he should go to the NL if he's smart.

Primetime, when I read the thread title my first thought was Mussina. He is in no way worth the money he is paid.

no way. Kerry wood would be fine if not for all the injuries. Mussina is healthy and he sucks. I think every yankee fan wishes he would tear a labrum and the yanks would sign this guy:

agreed...the Mike Mussina era...is very comparable to the Dave Ragone era at Louisville (or any other 26 year starter in college football)...it keeps going & going, w/ mediocre results but w/ plenty of hype.

I'm not sure anyone thinks Moose is THAT good anymore...thus disqualifying him from the "overrated" contest. He used to be great, though.

I'd put Jeremy Bonderman on that list for this year...immensely talented, but he's shat the bed this season compared to what was expected of him.

I'd also put Bronson Arroyo on that list, at least for earlier this year, back when people thought he was pretty damned good.

And A.J. Burnett should always appear on this list.

Mussina could go to the NL and more than likely still win 14-15 games for the right team...ATL type team would be a nice fit.

No reason he should be allowed to start another game. Its time to be replaced by Ian Kennedy. Reminds me a lot of David Cone in his last year with the Yankees.
