I missed it. Heard this was made a year ago. My buddy said it was on yesterday and it was a great story. The 25 years later look at what happened to him.

For those who dont remember who I am talking about he is that Little League World Series star from 1982 who beat the so called unbeatable Taiwan team. He pitched a shutout and hit a homerun.

Would have loved to see this.

There best win that year was a 3-2 extra inning win over SanDiego Sunshine in the West region final. By freind coached that Sunshine team, it was an all black team led by Kevin Mitchells brother Keith. I remember ity was like a scene from Out of Africa with a White coach leading an all balck team to play Kirkland in the West region final.

I agree with earl. I thought it was ok, but not great. Cody said he ended up quitting college baseball his freshman year (I think it was his freshman year) because the coach said something like come on Little League hero.

Do you really think he would throw away his dreams for that?
Kid probably peaked at high school and wasnt good enough to continue

No I don't think he would throw away his dreams for that, but he made a point to mention it (not me). I think he wasn't a very good player as he grew up and part of that was because he lost his love of the game.
