Tonight I'm fading the two worst teams in baseball in a two-team parlay that pays +161!!

Athletics/Red Sox 2-Team Parlay Aug 23

Oakland/Devil Rays:
-Devil Rays are 1-9 in Hammel's last 10 starts.
-During the last 10 games, the Rays' batting average against righties (Gaudin) is .191 and they are averaging only 2.2 runs! Over that same span the A's are averaging 4.5 runs per game.
-Oakland is 14-5 in their last 19 games on artificial turf
-With a record of 64-64, the A's still have hope and a reason to play with purpose. The Rays abandoned both of those by the last week of April.
-The A's are 15-11 in Gaudin's starts. Tonight he faces the worst team possible.
-Oakland is 8-2 during their last 10 games, Rays are 3-7. Don't be fooled by last night's Rays lightning strike. That's what the books are hoping for!
-Now...the MONEY STAT: Hammel has given up 25 hits in his last 13 innings and has not lasted longer than 5 innings in ANY start this year. After he gets yanked, the A's get to face the worst bullpen in baseball.:money8:

Red Sox/White Sox
What a joke!
-Red Sox are 6-4 during their last 10 games while the W. Sox are 2-8.
-Boston is 23-6 in their last 29 Thurs games.
-What are the odds that the Red Sox, who are fighting for the division title, will lose back to back games to the Devil Rays and White Sox? Let's bet against it.
-W. Sox are 1-7 in their last 8 games following a loss.
-During the last 10 games the White Sox are hitting .239 against righties (Beckett) and averaging 3.9 runs. During the same span Boston is averaging 4.9 runs.
-Boston has won the last three meetings by an average score of 10-3!
-Over the last three games Danks has 15 strikeouts, Beckett has 25.
-White Sox do not have a single .300 hitter in their line-up.
-Now...the MONEY STAT: Boston is 9-1 in Beckett's last 10 road starts.:money8:

If it looks too good to be true at +161.....get the bet down before anyone else!

Good luck, GLADIATORS. Let's slay some bookie bullshit tonight!:drink:

Oakland is hungry:

"The A's reached .500 for the first time since they were 44-44 at the All-Star break. The last time they were above .500 was July 7 when they were 44-43. "It happens every year," outfielder Nick Swisher said. "Considering all the injuries and stuff that we've had, it's taken a little longer to get it going but if we can continue to play this kind of baseball, it's going to be interesting to see what happens. We're putting a lot of pressure on other teams."

Oakland is still in third place in the AL West, trailing the Los Angeles Angels and Seattle Mariners. The Mariners are nine games ahead of Oakland for the wild card, but the A's aren't counting themselves out from defending their division title. "It's coming together," manager Bob Geren said. "The atmosphere is great. The team is right there and I really feel like we all think we can win every night. It's a good feeling."

Beckett is a road warrior, White Sox suck:

"Beckett (15-5, 3.15), tied for the league lead in wins, is 8-1 with a AL-best 1.65 ERA in nine road starts, allowing two earned runs or fewer in each outing. He has conceded only three home runs in 65 1-3 road innings while walking 10 and striking out 56. Asked to explain his success on the road, Beckett shrugged and said, "I'm just executing pitches. That's what it is."

John Danks (6-11, 5.30) hopes to end a personal four-start losing streak. The rookie left-hander has had a dismal August, losing all four starts this month with a 7.91 ERA. He has allowed 27 hits, including six home runs, over 19 1-3 innings during that span. Danks gave up four runs and a season high-tying nine hits in five-plus innings Saturday in a 7-5 loss at Seattle. Danks lost his only start against the Red Sox 11-2 at Boston on July 21, giving up four runs and seven hits in six innings.

IMHO MLB Parlays

3 tms or less give the best ROI of any sport. Made more $$ playing that than any other single entity!! Others I`m sure will disagree, all I know it`s worked for me big time. As w/all SB you have to be judicious & pick your spots. Tonite I just have to find gm #2 to go w/Becket & the RL. There`s luck or chance involved as w/ any gaming endeavor. The other nite I loved 3 tms, 1 was going to be a RL for sure, as I`m ahead and pressing I wanted 2 RL gms in the 3 tmr. Couldn`t decide on the 2nd, finaly chose one. Well it hit as all 3 won but only 2 by the RL. My 1st choice Bal won easily the 3rd gm was only a 1 run winner, the gm I picked was the Cards instead of Phil. As my luck went that nite we had the 8th inning error by the Marlins SS and SL wins by 3. Had to share that one.

I'll never play a three-teamer, but I totally agree with your overall thesis. It has worked for me so many times this year. Hopefully tonight will be the same!

Good luck men. I don't have the parlay but bet both teams individually, obviously I am rooting for you to cash the ticket.

BTW, I never bet parlays, nothing wrong with them, I just prefer the grind it out method of winning one at a time. But anyway, today I almost did. I really like my AL plays and was going to parlay the 4 of them just for the hell of it - Cle/ Oak/ Bos/ Sea. I am probably kicking myself later.

To anyone who knows: If the Boston game gets postponed, will I collect a winning for the Oalkand half of this Parlay? Or do both games have to go off? I have not been in this situation before on a parlay.

I just read it in your other thread, thanks! Bodog doesn't post their rules on parlays anywhere that is accessible.
