actually leaving in an hour to go there tonight...got a decent boxing card going.

yeah in early october they will just still have slots and racing. They voted in June for card games but will not be ready by Oct. The Wheeling casino should have cards by Oct 1 but that will be best case.

MTR is nice. There are OTB's in both the Speakeasy and at the horse track which is across the parking lot. A couple of nice restaurants in the Speakeasy too, and the hotel/pool are fine.

there's a free shuttle from the slots parlor to the track and back. two gentleman's clubs are across the street

lol, i cant figure that out honda... ive lived 20 minutes from mountaineer all my life and as u know its not a big place and ive never heard of either...

me too, im a lab tech in the burgh now, but just finished up some dealer classes, taking some more starting monday, might make the job switch if things go as I think they will

do you take the classes in the strip by any chance??? i see a card dealing school on my way to work everyday and ive never sen a soul even close to the place

i take the classes offered at west virginia northern, they are holding classes at the harv

start blackjack monday, just finished up poker friday

Honda, I heard they were starting the dealers out at $4.14 an hour. Is this true?

$ 3.65 an hour plus tips

wheeling is starting them out at $5.15

but imo ted arnault will promote the hell out of mountaineer

I live right in between them so same distance for me

I am 90% going to work at mountaineer despite the hourly difference

also mountaineer is paying 100% of hospitalization where wheeling you have to contribute
