The best NL record since early July?

Surprisingly, it's the Cincinnati Reds!

The Reds entered Saturday with the best record in the National League since Mackanin took over July 3.

Not like 27-19 is a great record, but it is the NL's best over that period....bullpen's been improving somewhat....they've been a pretty nice team to bet on in the underdog role....Especially when Aaron Harang takes the mound 13-1 L14 starts and he goes deep into games.

Before opening the thread, my guess was the ROCKIES. They have been under the radar still in "THE HUNT".

AZ has to have a good record as well, but that wouldn't be surprising.

since when did early august start july 3rd ?

:ohno: Very early here working on 4 hours sleep...I was surprised myself that the Reds had been playing that well...or is the rest of the NL that average.

5TP, the Dbacks have to be close I would think.

ON A SIDENOTE, I have been taking Aaron Harang every chance I can for 2 years running. STILL UNDER RATED, lines never too high. Unlike Bedard who was -250 last week.

I'm glad I did not fade your thread. I wanted too but the pitchers both suckkked. Ginx may be off you now.
