cant say how happy i am to see these overpaid old guys in pinstripes miss the post season for once.

get your golf clubs out torre. watch playoff highlights of your old team on sportscenter damon. count your money a-rod.

Actually I don't want their fans to go away, I want them around

I've been listening to asshole Yankee fans since I first started
following baseball in 1976 when I was 12 yrs old.

All pro teams natrually have fans and all pro teams have both cool fans that are just out to enjoy whatever sport their team plays and then there are the obnoxious fans that all teams have (yes even The Columbus Blue Jackets).

The problem for the Yankees and Red Sox is both teams have huge fan bases so you are going to get a lot more of the easy to recognise obnoxious Yankee and Red Sox rowdy fan types than say obnoxious or rowdy fans of the Kansas City Royals or the Memphis Grizzilies.. Simple math tells us when you have around 10 million fans like the Red Sox probably have nationwide at least a million are bound to be morons. Unfortunately for the Royals they don't have that problem, neither do teams like the Brewers or Nationals etc.
