Owen Wilson’s emergency hospitalization on Sunday was the result of a suicide attempt, The National Enquirer and Star magazine are exclusively reporting.
Sources tell the mags that Wilson sliced his left wrists and took an indeterminate amount of pills.
Wow. Wow. Wow.
Owen was discovered by a family member who summoned help.
Police and an ambulance responded to a 911 call from Wilson’s house in Los Angeles around noon on Sunday.
Owen is said to be in stable condition at the moment.
This is hardcore.
Suicide is never a good option, kids.
DON’T do it!
Update:
National Enquirer editor-in-chief David Perel tells PerezHilton.com….

Damn funny actor.........

“Owen Wilson has now been transferred from St. John’s to another Los Angeles area hospital. His brothers Andrew and Luke are with him.
“Andrew found him after the suicide attempt and called an ambulance. Both of Owen’s wrists were slashed superficially and Owen had taken an overdose of pills.
“Owen was found with a nearly empty bottle of pills next to him. He was at his house in Santa Monica.”

That's all on the outside - anyone who would commit suicide is in so much pain inside we cannot fathom.

this sure makes having no cable all day and being pissed off about the Philly last drive seem kinda insignificant....Teaser has your luck changed any since that Wash beatdown?

They should have left him to die. I have no respect or empathy for someone who chooses to do this.

People who get to be stars like this don't have anyone to tell them they can't do certain things. Who is going to say no to Britney Spears or to Lindsay Lohan when they are the mealticket for the people around them?

So someone with this much fame is getting told how great they are all the time. They get so self-centered and egotistical.

Yet humans are built so that we must do things for other people in order to feel whole or to feel good about ourselves. The contant self-serving only fulfils part of our needs. In fact, when people seek help for depression a lot of times they will be told to go out and help people in some capacity to help get outside themselves and their depression.

So people like this never fulfil the need of helping someone else. I can't say this is true for this particular individual but it happens a lot to the rich and famous.

Not surprised. My friend met him at a party in the City. He said he was on so much smack it was obvious. Also seemed kind of down. Now this was a year ago so....but money doesn't make you happy.
