He's hitting in probably the best young lineup in baseball. Crawford, Upton, Young, Harris, etc. are all very good to great players. Hardly a protection issue.
What's impressive is his average, and the fact he's doing it consistently. He had a 27 hr year in 04 w/Detroit, but hit somewhere in the .240s. I'm sure his career average is under .250, so to be hitting .280/.290 is an accomplishment.
