Its an 8 man league.

My team looks like this...

qb - Matt Hasselbeck. bench - alex smith

wrs - roy williams, marvin harrison, marques colston bench - calvin johnson
rbs - tomlinson, travis henry, bench -Jones-drew, Marshawn Lynch,

te- vernon davis (no other TE)

Im getting offered the following trade:

I get Willie Parker, Jeremy Shockey, Terry Glenn

I give Maurice Jones Drew, Calvin Johnson

My initial thought was Hell yeah I should trade those two for the other 3. What do you think? Am I overlooking something, this seems like a no brainer no?

Danke.

Slim.

Perfect example of why high stake no trade leagues are the only way to go. Some dumbass always making a horrible trade allowing some team to get dominant.

Only thing is, you don't need Shockey. Vernon Davis will outperform Shockey this year. I like Willie Parker, but Drew could be the #1 RB in Jacksonville this year and dominate.

That's why you have fair, smart commisioners. I'd veto the shit out of that trade.

side question...how is an 8 team league even fun? not to sound ass-holish, just seems like everyone would have a very good team, and luck is weighed more than actual skill.

I've always wondered this.

Al, I didnt chose for an 8 man league, but only 8 people signed up. Id always pick a 10 or 12 man league over 8 but hey.

Yeah, I thought the same thing, I guess Ill accept it.... Thanks guys.

I was in a 8 team league last year for the first time and it wasn't that bad. I prefer 10 teams but 8 was alright.

Oh I hear ya...i've never been in a small league before...and my brother always shows me his teams in baseball w/ an 8 team league...and conversations usually start w/ something like..."I picked Jake Peavey off the waiver wire"...lol, so i always dismissed that type of league.

Just wondering if I'm missing something...and if its pretty fun.

G/L w/ the trade & season

If you didnt have the team in place that you do , it wouldnt be such a no-brainer ... Drew scored 16 Tds last year and VD is predicted to have a break out season , but then again Shockey is always consistent , good for about 60 - 800 -6 , and Parker is the main man in Steel down ... I think its fair. Your call.

If I were you , I address your QB situation , to me that seems like your weakness.

I have a guy that is offering me Laveranues Coles for Anquan Boldin. I think I will keep Boldin. Any thoughts?

I found rotoworld's rankings/draft kit to be insanely good...

and they have Boldin rated at #30 overall...compared to Coles at #49.

Just a fyi

A commissioner's job isn't to veto bad or stupid trades, it is to veto unfair trades that challenge the integrity of the league. The season hasn't started, what incentive does this guy have to f*k with the league and make a bogus trade? Bad trade, probably, but by no means worthy of veto.

Thanks for the tip.

I think Boldin has a better opportunity to put up fantasy points than Coles. What does everyone else think?
