Okay guys, I went 2-0 last night picking up the win with the Angels, as well as the UNDER in the same game. I have another winner for tonight, so without further delay lets get to the write up and analysis.

2* Seattle Mariners -120 (Matchbook)

After the shut out loss last night at the hands of John Lackey, I believe the Mariners rebound today. Jeff Weaver takes the mound for the Mariners who, since coming off of the DL has been lights out for the most part, even with a couple complete game shut outs. In his last 3 starts, Weaver is 3-0 with a 2.78 ERA and a WHIP of 0.86, in 22.2 innings of work. This is vintage Jeff Weaver. His only two bad starts since coming off of the DL have been Detroit, where he gave up 7 ER in 5 innings, and the Angels where Weaver allowed 6 runs in just 4 innings of work. I don't see that happening again today.

Going for the Angels today, we have Ervin Santana. In his last 3 starts, Santana is 0-2 with a 6.38 ERA and a WHIP of 1.69, in just 18.1 innings of work. Certainly not the great numbers that he is known for. I expect the Mariners bats to come alive after several days of cooling down. This Mariners team is just too talented to stay in a hitting slump for too long. Raul Ibanez has unarguably been the hottest hitter in baseball since August 7, and Jose Vidro has been tearing the cover off of the baseball ever since the All Star break. Add those to the usual mix of a hot hitting Jose Guillen and always consistent Ichiro, and you've got a winning combination of hitters. It's how the Mariners have done it all season long. Hitting. The starting pitching has certainly not been the best, but the hitting has. I expect the Mariners to roll this evening with the hard throwing Jeff Weaver on the mound.

May be releasing my MLB "future bet of the year" within the next day or two with full write-up. Should be easy money.

Tough break with the Mariners bullpen last night. I really thought the Mariners were going to win that thing until Rick White came in. Then I just gave up.

Did well with "Live Betting" at Bodog, going 4-1 for +$483. Just got to pick your spots and don't try and crazy bets.

At any rate, if I have a pick for tonight's game, I will post it before 1:30 PST.
