Used to use them for the free half point, am considering a re-up. How are things these days in terms of safety?

Also, are book-to-book transfers running smoothly?

Thanks in advance!

John, Im not 100% sure about the book to book transfers, however, what I can tell you is that the RX.com MOD team has very close contacts at Skybook and I am sure you wont have any problems there.

Furthermore, Skybook is throwing 2 contests here at the RX and anyone who is active is eligible to earn 100% of the prizes.

In all of my years of training sportsbooks customer service and sales, Skybook always had the best employees and their management is second to none. Keith is the man!

If I were to gamble, they would be my first out.

John Dough..

I believe the perfect book for small to medium football bettors right now is Skybook. The main benefit is the free half point on all football wagers, here are some of the details:

Valid for straight wagers placed over the Internet only. Sides only (sorry no totals). Remember internet only for free half point - no call center bets for free point unless there are very special circumstances.

Maximum wager $500 per game (for the free half point - higher limits without it).

Valid everyday in football. These days there are games literally seven days a week.

Does not apply to moving the line on or off the numbers 3 or 7 in football. Important you remember this,

Not valid when buying points.

Credit card depositors must have all paperwork in order to qualify. A technicality but unfortunately a necessary one.

You also get a 10% cash bonus added to your account if you deposit $500 or more. Deposit $2500 and you start with $2750 in cash plus the free half point, that is a great deal and much more valuable than a straight 20% or 25% bonus on top of your deposit you might find at other books.

I am certain the free half point will save you a lot more than the extra bonus money by the time the season is over anyway. Players are always writing me and telling me how very surprised they are at how many times that the free half point comes into play during the course of a season.

The free half point can really turn a poor day into a decent one and a decent day into a fine one etc. up the line. Sometimes all it takes is that one win by a hook or even a tie to save a brutal loss to make a players day. I know I have been there all to many times wishing I had a half point inside the two minute warning of a game.

Skybook also has great customer service and pays like clockwork. Their Customer Care Department is one of the top 2 or 3 in the entire industry. Don't take my word for just read about it on these forums.

Some people say Skybook doesn't put their numbers up early enough but unless you are a scalper or line chaser getting Sunday's lines on Wednesday is very workable for example.

Remember though the free half point is for wagers made on the internet, not in the call center. You should also keep in mind that you can't use the free half point to get off the numbers 3 or 7.

Skybook also has plenty of re-load bonuses and many other excellent promotions thorughout the year that are perfect for small to medium sized bettors.

Please use this Rx.com link below to access the Skybook home page and check them out. However if you want to to get the free half point you need to let Skybook CSD know when you actucally deposit, by that I mean you have to ask for the free half point, but regardless it is still just like is says FREE.

Should you decide to deposit please you the link in this thread or any of the many scattered around the site to sign-up and if you talk to SKYBOOK CSD please tell them that you are from The Rx.com so they will know that we referred you. This is how the Rx.com manages to stay in business and enables the site to have experienced moderators always just an email away if you ever need help with anything to do with The Rx.com or any of it's sponsers.

After you have looked the website over you can call Skybook Customer Service and ask them about new customer sign up bonuses, make sure you understand exactly what a Bonus Play Bonus is and how they work. Also be sure to tell them you want your account marked as eligible for the free half point when you finally deposit.

Skybook's toll free number 1-888-759-2665 if you care to call them for any reason and they also have an excellent live chat customer service system that is terrific for fast inquiries into you account.

Always feel free to contact me if you have any problems at all at Skybook or any other Rx.com sponser.

The entire Skybook experience is very enjoyable for the $50 to $1500 player, I am very confident you will enjoy playing there.

Best of luck, wilheim

Thanks for compliment. The truth is I have leared how to write out of pure neccessity. This job calls for a lot of writing and I know I have come along way since I first became head mod back in June of 2005.

Believe it or not, I write about double the volume in emails to posters, sportsbook personell, and various other parties interested in The Rx.com in one way or another than I do here on the forums.:ohno:

Thanks, wil..

I like Skybook, they've been great. The 50 inch TV in the living room I look at every day doesn't hurt.

However, to say they are great for small bettors is a bit of a misnomer, I think. They have withdrawal fees, which are actually quite high (especially in relation to say a $500 withdrawal - they are north of $50), and there are a lot of good books out there that don't charge for that, at least like once a month.

Not too bag on them or anything, just a bit of info so people know when they are signing up. Part of doing business I suppose - overall still a great book.

I tried skybook last year for the first time and was very impressed
However,I did not see the $15 withdraw fee(pre-neteller BS)
Is that there fault........NO !
Rules are Rules it was up to me to investigate
What pizzed me off was when I asked CS if that had 1 free withdraw a month like other books(Pre-neteller BS).I was bascialy told go someplace else if I don't like it
This year I would like to re-up but I felt that the complete lack of proffessionailsm before all the neteller nonsense has me concerned

turbobets

No more reduced juice, that was at a sister book caled IIS that they absorbed into Skybook.

Minet123, please do yourself a favor and call Skybook CSD and ask to speak to CSD Supervisor Mike Hertz at 1-888-759-2665 and explain your concerns (tell him Wilheim refered you). I know Mike is a real pro and will put you at ease. I don't know what happened on the call that has you concered from the pre-Neteller days but Skybook CSD is simply excellent.

Don't throw a good book away because of one call with a cranky or uniformed clerk from months ago.

You will enjoy your experience at Skybook without a doubt.

Best of luck, wilheim

solid book. they just need to come up with a more economical way to get us paid. most books offer one free payout a month. im pretty sure you are going to pay over 50 bucks a pop or something like 100 bucks for bank wire anytime you want a decent withdrawl last time i checked.

just budget some of your hard earned money to get paid if you get to that point. they are not competitive at all to the competition in that area.
