How much do you take home field into consideration?

This is the first year I have really gave it a solid go at baseball and I have toyed around with a few different strategies. By far i have had the most success when limiting my plays to only home teams. I have read some other posters over the coarse of this year say home field is meaningless in baseball. I disagree. Now this may be the case for many match-ups, but i have found betting against a poor road pitcher to be very profitable, and frequently getting very good value on my plays. i was just curious to see if this was a major consideration for any of you guys as well.

Out of 30 teams:
  • only 8 teams have losing home record
  • only 9 teams have winning road records.
