TheRx.com Poker Tourney begins! We're giving away $3000 in prizes this year so be sure to sign up today before it fills!

The Poker Tournament will be held in the Planet Hollywood Poker Room located on the main Casino floor.

Please note: all entrants must bring a $20 dealer tip, which will be collected at sign-in. The tourney starts at noon sharp; we recommend that entrants arrive well ahead of time to avoid lineups.

TheRx.com Bash Reception! Party until midnight with your fellow Rxers and enjoy some great food and drinks on us! We'll be in the Mezzanine on the third floor (use the escalators next to the Heart Bar) with a fabulous buffet of beef, turkey, antipasto, and more!

PLUS! We'll be awarding the prizes from our Bodog $2500 CFB 'Capping Contest and Poker Tournament. AND... we'll be giving away 8 funded accounts of $250 each from our sponsors! In all, we're giving away $8500 to you, our members!

TheRx.com Sportsbook-on-the-Fly Event!

Since this is the first year that our Bash overlaps the NFL season, we just KNEW you'd want to watch the games in Vegas! But since the sports books are absolutely overcrowded this time of year, we worried that your fun would be diminished.

Our solution? Reserve a private space to watch Sunday's games!

We'll have up to four of the early NFL games (10am PDT) on big screens in the Mezzanine. You can even bring your laptops and bet online! (You can't do THAT in the sports books!)

We'll be providing coffee and tea for everyone, and a cash bar will be set up for our group.

Please note: In-house wagers will need to be placed with the sports book itself, located on the first floor.

Viva Las Vegas!!

Cannot imagine XPANDA, Green Doberman, and TTinCo doing this again...their hangovers will be twice as bad this time around, but worth it....Green Doberman, they have a saying in Thailand that you don't lose your girl, you just lose your turn....so give Yara, our Asian cocktail waitress best wishes...sure wish I could have made this Bash also..:toast: :toast:

FYI, the idea for Sunday morning came from one of our guests at the last Bash who said to me as I was in line for my eighteenth drink: "You could watch the games on those screens over there."

For the life of me I don't know whom to give credit. Apologies to this poster, and thanks to Ms. Tanqueray for dumbing me down so badly.

I was actually talking to a waitress and asked her about the room and she said they had Kty Derby set up there with betting windows and the room is avaliable to be reserved and I thought that some high rollers were going to be there opening Sunday.

Well I guess we are those high rollers,good job X!

I don't know what got into me last Bash as I neglected to take her picture. I think I was just flustered. That happens to me around women.

I'm planning on arranging another trip to the Lotus of Siam restaurant on Friday night for those interested. I get in around 6:30 on Friday night so it's looking like another 9pm dinner. For those interested I will make reservations for that time so please let me know ahead of time if you wish to join us. We will be meeting at 8:30pm at the bar next to the Sports Book at Planet Hollywood.

I'm still waiting for it, too. The last round of resos was sent in on the weekend, but the person processing them at PH wasn't in until today. I only just received the 'read receipt' this morning. He's pretty efficient, so I'm sure I'll get the confirmation numbers someitme today. (Heads up: I have my FF draft tonight, so may not end up sending them out until later tonight, depending on when they come in.)

I'm no math expert but someone help me out:

Bodog $2,500 college foot capping contest
Rx $3,000 poker tourney
Rx Bash 8 $250 giveaways!!! ($250 x 8 = $2,000)

In total giving away $8,500 at the bash? Either way that is a lot of money, but I just want to start speculation.....$1,000 is going to the Rx Planet Hollywood scavenger hunt!!! I'm calling it now
