10 Teams, 6pts for Rushing, receiving and passing TD, 1 point per 10/rushing receiving yards and 1 point for 25 passing yards.

I had Pick 5 and due to computer problems the picks marked with an asterisks * were auto picked. we start 1 QB, 2 RBs, 2 WR, 1RB/WR 1 TE k, d

1.5 Gore * -- i was leaning towards Addai here, but i will take Gore
S Smith * -- i could have had Bush here
M Bulger * --- would have taken TO here, and got kitna or rivers in 6-7
R Williams first pick i made, all top RBs were gone
Gates -- my second pick, value pick
L Jordan -- 3rd pick, he starts with 4 weaker run D teams.
Baltimore -- had to pick the highest pts on the board..
V Jackson -- may have to go with 3 WRs since RBs are weak
L Coles * -- site kicked me off, no need for this WR here
D Foster -- hopefully he hold off D Williams and the new zone blocking
S Holmes -- already have enough WR, but do not need anything else here
M Turner -- trade bait and to piss off the number 1 guy
D Bennett * -- now this site is pissing me off!!!
J Porter * -- holy shit, this is great another WR
M Stover * -- at least i have a kicker on the team.

So basically i am looking to trade Coles and possibly Holmes, Jackson and Turner. What kindof an RB can I expect... I was thinking possibly Fred Taylor as the team he is on is short on WRs.

Other thoughts...drop Porter and Bennett...and sign either Schaub or Culpepper, both with sit on bench until Bulgers bye week anyway. Then i can sign either Denvers D or Bo Scaife, both whoi think will be trade bait as well, as one guy signed Troupe as his TE.

Should I do this preseason or wait until after week 1? Personally I think Culpepper is worth taking a shot, but if he does well i think Porter does well.

My other thought was a staight up trade to Team 1 who has LT.....Turner for Rhodes. ( in case Jordan goes down)

Thanks for insights

Your RBs are borderline horrible. Gore and then a lot of ifs. WR is pretty good but beyond the top 3, depth is a concern. QB I do not like. You have Bulger who I think is more of a 2nd string guy this year and then no one else. TE is obviously as good as it gets.

As far as the trade, I would try and move Bulger and Vincent Jackson for Kitna and a WR upgrade to give you some depth. I am not nearly as high on Jackson as others are. I know Norv is going to pass more but LT still takes all the TDs and if he doesn't, Gates likely will.

Your RB situation is very bad. Try and use Foster in a trade to the guy who has Deangelo. Gore and Foster for two very good backs would do you well if the other guy has two nice guys. Something like Maroney and Brandon Jacobs for Gore and Foster would improve your team and give you a better chance. If you have any trade ideas, post them here first and I'd be happy to give my opinion.

I think Schaub is a better option than CPep at this point, although both will be hit alot. The Raiders have the worse of the two Olines and I'm concerned a now imobile CPep isn't going to get many passes off.

I would not trade Turner for Rhodes. Turner has more value on the sideline than Rhodes does running behind a line that doesn't open holes... and that assumes he even starts a majority of the games this year. Use Turner as trade bait to the guy with LT, but get more than Rhodes.
