Good bye Mariners. :howdy:

They've done very little right this entire series....NY will pass them as well.

Awesome defense has more then kept their lead today, where did this mathis guy come from the last 2 games, hes like 4-6, thrown out 2 runners, hit the long ball, and picked runners off first...Mariners dont have the starting pitching to contend in the California Penal League, say bye bye to the wild card and they wont ever see it again after this week... :puke1:

Yeah, the Yankees have done a lot to show they are better than the M's. Kinda like being under .500 heads up this season.

The West is done like I said, but I still feel confident about the wildcard as long as we get through this tough road stretch coming up. This isn't over, and your very ignorant if you think so guy.

I would REALLY love to see Seattle make it.

It would make for a more interesting playoffs.

Don't take it personally... of course it isn't over by definition, but you must protect your turf and Seattle laid down like a drunken old sailor...LAA ripped their heart out , NY has much more experience in dealing with these situations.

So they are about to get swept at home. Yeah, that shouldn't happen but let's realize this is arguably the best team in the league were up against. You guys act like were getting swept by the Orioles here. The next 10 games on the road will make or break the season.

More interesting than NY/Bos part XXVIIXI ? :ughhh:

Have you watched the Mariners at all this series, they are totally outclassed right now in basically every aspect of the game.

I don't think Boston wants any part of NY in October....I don't blame them for rooting for Seattle.

Angels own us. Bottomline, have all season. Check out the records against the other contenders. Not nearly as bad.

The lost last night...those are season ending type losses...they really might not recover from it, I've seen teams lose a game like that and their season is never the same.

Last nights game was marred by a bad call with the score tied, on the stolen base ...after the ump missed that call the game shifted quickly.

Not sure why you don't walk Vladdy either with the game tied and first open, I know Anderson's heated up but why give Guerrero anything close?

Can't agree with that comment. Did you see the New York loss the other night against fellow contender Detroit? That's the kind of loss that demoralizes you for the season. But what do you know, big win last night against Boston.

So the Mariners are slipping up a bit right now, it's baseball. Yankees been through it, Tigers been through it, Indians been through it, there's still a lot of baseball left. Check the schedule after the road Tigers series. Pretty favorable schedule I'd say.

M's starting pitching isn't playoff caliber. If they made the playoffs, they would be 3 and done anyways. King Felix is great when he's "ON", but he's not on enough, and the other 4 are all cast-offs.

And who are you a fan of?

I dont care who we play.

I would like to see NYY not make it. And I have always liked Seattle. I even started a thread saying they would win the division. Am I wrong? probably. But I still came out and said it.

I just think the Mariners are cool. They won me over in Ichiro's rookie season.

You mean the blowout game? I disagree...losing like that is nothing like losing to your rival when you score 5 in the first in a must win type game.

You make up for that by having a great bullpen. That's what we have.

Look who was on the mound. While Weaver has made a great comeback over the year, he's no gaurantee to hold your opponents at bay. I just blame the bats for going so cold for 8 other innings. Once again, this shit happens ALL THE TIME.

Bats go cold because of good pitching on the other side....Seatlle has a good pen...with a little more experience and help for Ichiro, Seattle will get better, but to get swept at home is a cardinal sin...:nono5:
