Got my 30-day notice to vacate today and will have to relocate at the end of September.
For those that don't know, I live right behind the Strip and it looks like the Evil Empire is stepping up its demolition plans.

GREENY you can get a nice 2 bedroom apt in Boise for about 700 a month..good area to plus you get to go to Bronco Stadium to see the bronc's play on the blue!

I'll bet you of we all used our available room comps in Vegas, we could probably keep you going rent free for about 3 years or more.

Right now my options are completely open. I was planning on doing some traveling anyway.

green doberman....first of all thanks for the well wishes of my brand new daughter...and secondly..i just might happen to have a home for sale here in vegas...but it's not close to the strip....you'd have to get used to life away from the strip...plus i'll throw in a car...so there... place to live and transportation all with one deal....may come for the lunch on thursday and we could visit....or just respond to this thread...thanks jeffksu

Thx, Jeff. If I stick around town looking at the prospect of Summerlin or Green Valley. Not relishing the thought of all the traffic, though. Looks like I'm going to buy a car as well. That was fun while it lasted.
I'll keep it in mind and hope to see you next week sometime.

If I could work for the Marlins, I'd come down in a heartbeat. Do you know if they need someone to be Billy the Marlin next year.

When I was in Cocoa I actually tried to get a job as the Brevard County Manatee when they were the Marlins class-A affiliate.

One of my best friends from high school is Billy the Marlin. He got it because he was doing an internship there when they told the former Billy that they were no longer going to pay him 80K a year. He quit and my buddy said he'd do it for 35K plus appearance fees.
