Ugh...killed on the early game, but owned the night game. Least I have momentum now.

Reminds me a lot of the Sox game last night, and we know how that turned out. Marshall has really been pitching well; 3 game WHIP of 1.06. Wandy on the other hand has logged a 1.7 3 game WHIP against powerhouse teams like Washington and Pittsburgh. Yes, Soriano is out of the game, but I think this makes the Cubs better if anything. He was clearly playing hurt the last couple days, and a Soriano at 80% just isn't the same player.

Still haven't learned my lesson on totals so lets give this one shot. Couple things I like here. First, you have two starting pitchers going with 3 game WHIPs over 2. That's not good...not good at all. Second, this is the first game of a double header, which means even if the pitchers are struggling, the managers aren't going to burn up their bullpens in the first game. Hopefully this will translate to the starts flailing about a little longer and letting in a couple extra runs.

Sometimes you just gotta ride a dead horse, and when it's facing one of the best pitchers in the AL with a 3 game WHIP of less than 1...I'll take that bet any day.
