Hey everyone,

Thanks for all the great info.

My friends and I are starting a keeper league... we want to promote keeping a lot of players from year to year, but still allowing for expansion teams and crappy teams to rebuild... does this make any sense?

Any help would be appreciated

tough to reconcile all of that. We just expanded our keeper league from 8 to 10 this year and the new guys weren't left with much. Our rules are that you can't keep 1st or 2nd rounders and can only keep guys for 2 years (the year of draft plus two additional years). draft slots are basedon prior year's finish. new guys drafted 9th and 10th with them selecting keepers off existing rosters. Existing teams selected one keeper, then the new guys selected one, old guys selected their second and new guys selected their second. worked out pretty well.

I would only protect 2-3, and no more than one from the same position. Limit it to three years max.
