If they are ranked, it is a joke. That is one of the biggest problems with college football - they go by these polls to help decide BCS bowls.

I think people are not giving App St enough credit calling this the biggest upset ever. App St has more talent than the bottom 30% of D1. This is a still a huge upset but lets say Western Michigan beat WVU at home Ranked 3, would people have called it the biggest upset ever? I really don't think so, its the fact they are D2 team. They probably would be D1 but they just don't have enough attendance.

Part of this is it's Michigan...in the big house. App State is dangerous OOC opponent for any team, but Division IAA teams aren't supposed to beat the Michigan's, USC's, or Florida's of the world, in their own crib.

If it was WVU it would be second page news.

Mich has had it tough. When they aren't getting jobbed out of a bowl game against Neb by the refs, their getting ambushed on their own field by a 1AA.

Guess I won't hear the same tired argument from Michigan fans about ND playing Navy (who can beat ND this year), when they cannot beat 1-AA teams.

Tom Brady just held a press conference and he feels it would be unjust if Michigan drops out of the top 10 and he's sure they won't because of the great injustice they suffered last year by not playing for a title.

Probably still ranked but they don't deserve it.
