i would just check in throughout the week a few times...he doesnt necessarily release his plays on any specific day...sometimes only gameday, and sometimes up to four days in advance.

Sunday Picks:

15 Dime –

GIANTS (With Zito and Chico as listed pitchers)
Take the Giants as the small road chalk for the win over the Nationals.
Barry Zito will get the start for San Francisco and he has settled down over the last month. The left-hander went 2-1 with a 2.56 ERA in six starts in August.
The Giants as a team have played fairly decent over that stretch and I love their chances at this price today over the Nats.
Washington will start Matt Chico, who is making his first start since being demoted to Triple-A two weeks ago. The left-hander is 1-2 with a 6.50 ERA in his last seven big league starts.
San Fran has the greater edge in the pitching matchup and shouldn’t have any problems getting the win.
Take the Giants as the road chalk for the win.

5 Dime –

RED SOX -1 ½ RUN LINE (With Cabrera and Lester as listed pitchers)
Take the Red Sox on the run line over the Orioles this afternoon.
Boston shouldn’t have any problems putting the O’s down today. Baltimore has lost 10 of its last 11 games, posting a 9.71 ERA and a .253 team batting average during that span.
It’s going to be tough to improve on those numbers with Daniel Cabrera getting the nod today. The right-hander is on a personal five-game losing streak against the Red Sox. He’s 1-7 with an 8.39 ERA in nine career starts against Boston, including 0-2 with a 10.05 ERA in three outings at Fenway. In his last five starts against the Red Sox, Cabrera has allowed 24 runs and 27 hits in 23 innings while walking 23 batters.
To say Boston is going to score some runs today is stating the obvious.
Jon Lester will start for Boston and all he has to do is manage the game and throw strikes and he’ll walk away with the win.
Take Boston on the run line as they score another big win over the Orioles.

TIGERS (With Robertson and Braden as listed pitchers)
Take Detroit for the road win over Oakland today.
The Tigers are desperately trying to stay in the playoff race, and they are going to have to start winning some series away from home in order to do so.
They are going to get it today.
Coming off a win behind Justin Verlander yesterday, I like Detroit to keep that momentum going today against a pitcher who really shouldn’t even be in the big leagues right now.
Dallas Braden will get the start after Esteban Loaiza was picked up by the LA Dodgers. Braden was 0-7 with a 7.17 ERA in his last nine starts before he was optioned to the minors.
It doesn’t take a genius to see he’s not quite ready for the bigs yet.
Nate Robertson will start for the Tigers and he’s 3-3 with a 5.45 ERA in six career starts against the A’s.
It’s not that Robertson is that great of a pitcher, but he doesn’t have to be anything other than ordinary today and Detroit will get the win.
Take the Tigers as they grab the road win.

KAN (+115) vs 926 MIN

Analysis: What a year it's been for KC rookie Brian Bannister! He pitched well in his first six starts this year (3.48 ERA) but had little to show for it, with an 0-3 mark (Royals were 1-5). However, beginning in June, it's all fallen into place. Over his last 16 starts, Bannister has posted a 3.22 ERA (not much lower than his pre-June ERA) but the Royals have made his good pitching 'stand up!' Bannister is 11-4 and the team is 12-4! Minnesota has pounded out 19 hits in its last two games but it will face a real challenge in Bannister! Minnesota can only counter with Boof Bonser (6-11, 4.72), who can only hope for a better final month to his season. He is 1-9 in his last 14 starts, with the Twins going 3-11.

Take the Royals.

Take "(910) STL Cardinals"
"The Reds were actually talking about climbing back into contention in the NL Central off their recent good run. But reality has set in this weekend at St. Louis, with the Cardinals unloading on the woeful (aside from Harang) Reds staff. 19 runs in two games and more in store here against Bronson Arroyo, who's been miserable for the most part on the road. Braden Looper has been okay lately, so the Cardinals are the choice."

STL (-135) vs 909 CIN

Analysis:
Play on the Cards at 2:15 ET. The Cards have won the first two games of this three-game series with the Reds and are doing their best to stay 'alive' in the NL Central, with 15 wins in their last 22 games. Meanwhile, the Reds have lost four of six since winning a season-high six straight. Bronson Arroyo (7-13, 4.44 ERA) takes the mound for the Reds, who are 10-18 (minus-$970) in his starts this year, which includes them going 3-12 in his 15 road starts! Braden Looper (11-10, 4.66) starts for the Cardinals, allowing two ERs or less in all four. The Cards are an impressive 9-3 in his 12 home starts in '07. Take St. Louis.

Big Al Mcmordie

BIG AL'S PITCHING MISMATCH GAME OF THE MONTH.
At 4:05 pm, our selection is on the Detroit Tigers over Oakland, as we will fade lefty Dallas Braden who is 0-7 in his last nine starts over the past 4+ months with an ERA north of seven runs per game. And, in Braden's last Major League start (on August 12) before being sent down to the Minors, he faced these Detroit Tigers and couldn't make it out of the 2nd inning. He gave up 8 runs in 1 2/3 innings in that game (an 11-6 loss) which is no surprise since Detroit murders lefties (24-13 with a batting avg of .304). Take the Tigers.

PS - My wife says there is nothing BIG about me.

Vegas Experts Tip of the Day

Detroit Tigers at Oakland Athletics
Sunday, September 2nd, 4:05 P.M. EDT

Nate Robertson would likely not be in the rotation if the Tigers had anyone else. He shows a 5.21 ERA his last three starts and 6.21 on the road for the year. He is is 8-19 against the money line when the money line is +125 to -125 over the last 2 seasons. (Team's Record) DETROIT is 20-37 against the money line in September games over the last 3 seasons. OAKLAND is 66-48 against the money line in day games over the last 2 seasons.
