"Sticky" Bonus question

Figured i would the ask the folks here since i am really clueless when it comes to this type of bonus.

I got a offering from Carib for 50% bonus. Sent in $500 and got $250 bonus last week (Fulfilled the 5x plus part). I had a good night in Nascar and would like to withdraw some funds but since it is a "sticky" the rules are a little different.

My balance is currently around $1900. If i withdraw the balance i lose the $250 right? What if i withdrew say $1400 so i still have roughly $500 in there. Do i still lose the $250? This is really confusing so if anyone has had experience with this and could help me out it would be appreciated. Thanks

If you withdraw the full balance, they will definitely take out the 250$. Im not 100% sure what happens when you withdraw the partial amount though. I think if you withdraw 1400$ they will most likely take away the 250$ also, but dont quote me on that.

Thanks.. I will call tomorrow to check. If they take it on a partial withdrawal i guess i will just try to hedge it out with another book.

I had never even heard of this type of bonus, The whole thing seems stupid to me.Oh well, Free money is free money (even if its basically a matchplay) i guess.

I have dealt with sportsbooks for over a decade and my advise is to chill. Let the 30 days run, make safe and spreadout ML Parlay bets on veteran and winning teams so you have your rollover in a month and take your cash and your bonus home. You'll enjoy betting a whole lot more in the future if you chill and get methodical from here on out. Look at it from the "your betting with your money" perspective not theirs (that's most bettors big mistake).

With this bonus there is no 30 day rule. I talked with them and once you take any withdrawal you lose the bonus. Will hedge it out at other books.

The other book i got a bonus from is Justbet. They have a 90 day rule and 7x rollover on 50% cash (But you can take out winnings after 3x with no hold). What i did there was played thru about 6x already and made season long team total bets equal to deposit/cash bonus so it's locked up to satisfy the 90 days. Will be withdrawing winnings tomorrow.

Why don't you just leave some money at Carib and use it for football. A+ rated book that pays you fast.

They have been good, Joined the contest there as well but i pretty much play only at 5dimes for Nfl. I like props and they don't offer as much.
No complaints about them at all though.

the bonus will be gone as soon as you make any sort of withdrawal.. with a sticky bonus... i hate the sticky bonus.. but its better than a kick in the teeth. also.. i never heard of a rollover with a sticky bonus..

Correct, the bonus will disappear as soon as you request a withdrawal of any amount.

The proper use of a sticky bonus is to make as many max bets as possible at the beginning (whether they're straight bets, or part of a scalp/middle). By doing this, you'll get the most value out of the sticky bonus. So if you deposited $500 and got the $250 bonus, your first bet should be $750 ... if this bet size is higher than your normal unit size for a straight bet, you should bet the $750 on something and scalp/middle it against another book.

my approach with a sticky , with no rollover, is to make an all in bet.. and withdraw if it wins.. then you recieved a true bonus.. you let weeks go by and that 250 seems apart of your bankroll and it will feel like you're losing $250 cash when they take it. so 1 and done for me with the sticky.
