I am in the US. I just made a deposit at my sports book using my debit card. Two minutes after making the deposit I get a recorded message from my banking asking to call the fraud prevention line. I call it and get a recorded message asking to verify resent transactions. The message says "a deposit at a betting establishment" , I verified it. I wonder if I will be hearing more on this?
My bank does that to me as well on my debit card every so often. Just verify it or say it is not a betting establishment and that their information is wrong or dont return their call
I asked them once if they would call me if I paid for a Lotto subscription or bought some crap off eBay with my debit card. Would they be worried about fraud or gambling then?
Since it is your debit card they cant really do much as long as you have the money in your account I would think
