be careful here -- i see a lot of people on the twins today with the logic that santana wants revenge on the indians, and even more so sabathia. however, a few points to remember:

the twins have flat out quit on the season, not the sort of team morale i would find wise to invest in.

the coach (garden-fire-me) has started to make lame excuses for losses -- losing to the low royals by saying "the game times got screwed-up by the viking and gopher games and we were tired" WTF??? I guess it didn't effect KC!!

santana has quit on this season -- he is PISSED!!! they let castillo go, and did not pick-up ANYONE!! they even refused to look at home town boy jack hannahan who oakland scooped up for a song and is prompty hitting .290 w/ a couple dingers, several doubles, and a few game winning rbi's. santana is sick of the lack of run support and has his mind back home where he will be in about 4 weeks!!!

mvp morneau has NO confidence right now -- and will have a hard time finding it against sabathia.

all the papershere and some of the players are saying we must sweep or we are done?? are you kidding me??? we are over done, not to mention how about concetrating on the game at hand!!

just not an investment worthy of any common sense right now, if anything i ride the tribe still trying to stay pace ahead of the tigers.

just my $.02!!!

if santana concentrates keeps the ball DOWN and changes speeds like he can he's lights out, BUT if his mind is elsewhere, like it has been recently, and he leaves the ball up -- the tribe will be putting them in the seats!

Santans is 0-4 against CLE this year... pretty amazing, IF I had to bet, I'd take Minny... CLE bats have been inconsistant to say the least.

is it me, or does it seem like its way too easy today to just pick

the indians, A's, and blue jays?
All big faves lost yesterday, and today looks no different.

Good call on the tribe hansen...
spreadbeater: i too was on the wrong side.

I don't know if the twins will even win a game this series.

just trying to help out gentlemen -- we are all here to make money. i'm a situational baseball investor ONLY, my forte -- the NFL, and the NBA. however, today presented one of those rare situations.

hope it helped someone.

this team is a mess, last year they were the hottest 2nd half team in all of baseball -- this year will easily be the antithesis.

you would be wise to bet againt these pigs, and use the run line where deemed necessary (as the lines adjust against them), for they won't be in many one run games. Even their once stellar bullpen is beat-up and lacks confidence. Meshek, Gurierer, Rincon, and Nathan have all been hit VERY hard of late!

I told you guys!!! This team is spent!!!! Nathan gives it up yesterday, and they cover the run line, and neshek gives it up today easily covering the run line!!!
