If you refreshed/renewed your IP address after plaing a bet and then did a bet from the same computer from a different persons account would the sportsbook know it came from the same PC?

When you refresh an ip address (ipconfig /renew command) ....it only changes internal ip address i.e 192.168.x.x....the external ip address which is assigned from your provider remains the same.....

You can change PC or laptop IP addresses all you want....but everything comes from your house will still listed one same single public IP address to the outside world....

Does that answer your question???

Buy a netzero or some other cheap dialup account and set it up to call the dialup # from another city. Pretty much everyone has free or super cheap long distance these days. If you call a dialup # in Texas...your IP is way different than the previous one - and your location is now...Texas (disconnect your highspeed while you do this just in case)

Just spoke to a techie acquaintance and he says setting up VPN(virtual private network) is the way to go with a friend that has a fixed IP address.

Any thoughts??

While you are at it, lets discuss how to use somebody else's credit card to maximize you winnings.

Mods, is this a forum for scammer wannabees? Oh, my bad, forgot about $100 fliers.

Whats scamming about using a friends account to place bets if you can't get on?

If the books let you bet to win $2k to $3k per bet this would not be an issue.

Man - you guys should go to the track in UK and Australia. There there are dozens of "agents" placing bets for "faces" that can't get on.

It's just a necessary reaction to books not playing fair. No one asks them to take unlimited action but is $2 or $3k per bet unreasonable? Some books have a limit of zero or $300 max win with me - how can you live with this?

I can live with your low limits just fine...

So, if you think that a bank was not fair to you then that justifies robbing it? This is not a scamming contest, if you do not like the service they provide just do not use it. If you think they are scammers, do not deal with them but do not try to scam anybody.

I'd say it's a hint that you're action isn't welcome there anymore.

BTW, you're begging to get both account balances confiscated-especially if you're bonus whoring on top of circumventing limits.

The anology with banks is unfair - If I have a current account they don't charge me x per transaction and charge you y because they like you and don't like me.
