Is Guthrie still a stud? or has he become average lately?

Guthrie has been pretty hitable lately and from what I have heard, is it true that he might have a dead arm right now? Is his pitch count being monitored?

Could some O's fan help me out? Jman maybe?

He has slowed down from his start and likely due to the fact he has pitched a large number of innings compared to his previous years.

so you think that the over 9 is a play tonight?

I was neutral on the total but with the line moving to 8.5, I would play the OVER ... especially with Nuaert behind the plate ... he is 18-9 on over-unders this year

That being said, I like the +131 better ... as long as I can find that Guthrie doesn't have a dead arm, and isn't on a pitch count.

With the Sept call-ups, teams no longer have tired bullpens, so the O's pen might actually get people out if Guthrie can get into the 7th with a lead.

Guthrie falling back to earth is all.

agree. just a pitcher who stringed along some great starts. If you thought he was going to be a great starting pitcher for years to come with the o's you were wrong. doesnt he have like 11 home runs given up in last 6-7 games or something.
